2023 American Legion Postal National Champions
2023 CMP 3 Position Air Rifle National Champions - Precision

Currently Lafayette Gun Club has three types of competition teams: Sporter Air Rifle, Precision Air Rifle, and Air Pistol. These teams practice through-out the week in the Air Gun Facility in LGC’s Harris Training Center. The teams are Coached by NRA certified coaches, and compete both locally and nationally, including travel matches. Basic equipment is provided, but as the shooters progress, many decide to purchase their own equipment so as to customize to their preferences. The goals of these shooters are typically National, College, or Olympic level shooting. This group is open to intermediate and advanced level shooters and shooters must “try-out” for the team, normally by participating in the Friday evening Rifle Marksmanship Qualification Program.
